Our Family Farm

The family – run farm is nestled in the Laois Countryside where we provide a home to a wide range of animals. We are dedicated to providing a warm welcome to visitors and ensuring they make the most of their visit.

The vision of developing the working farm into an agri-tourism family destination has taken commitment and support from the local community. The farm has grown significantly year on year offering new attractions and new animals to meet. We have lots of great ideas for activities that will ensure Castleview Open Farm remains a great place to keep visiting.

Indoor Activities

Enjoy our popular indoor activities such as Electric Go Karts, imaginary based play areas, mud kitchen, crafting space and our indoor soccer shootout areas. A great cafe and farm gift shop will help make the visit memorable.

Animals

We provide a great family atmosphere where you can meet over 100 friendly animals both indoors and outdoors. Some family favourites include Giant Rabbits, Alpacas, Briana the Eagle Owl, Buffalo, Highland Cows and Silver Foxes.

Outdoor Activities

Our extensive walkway will guide you through a range of outdoor activities to keep the whole family busy. Enjoy complimentary Crazy Golf, a Maze, Multiple Playgrounds, a soccer pitch, plenty of animals and even a Fairy Garden.
